Data Analyst

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Summary/Objective

PWT’s analytics team is essential in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position will assist with and improve the analytical processes used to communicate key information between factories and various departments. The ideal analyst will be communicative, intuitive, problem‑solving, flexible, and curious.

Essential Functions

• Perform data collection, analysis, and report management to improve business processes.
• Act as liaison between business and production departments and the analytics and IT teams, translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Work with data engineers to bring new data into the data warehouse, perform quality checks, and implement new data.
• Assist with maintenance of the data warehouse.
• Build reports to present key metrics to various departments, primarily through Power BI, but also using Excel, and help maintain existing reports.
• Help the IT team process and analyze support ticket data.
• Use production data to identify inefficiencies, problem areas, and guide continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist QC and engineering teams with data wrangling and analysis of quality control test data.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and the Sales team to deliver better customer insights and improve processes.

Competencies

• Proficient with Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
• Able to write basic SQL queries.
• Able to work independently and on a team.
• Ability to explain technical analyses to non‑technical audiences.

Required/Preferred Education And Experience

• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization software.
• Data engineering skills or experience/knowledge of Azure Databricks (a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
