Production Operator II; Pitman Day Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines according to position Standard Work Instructions (SWI).
• Clean and prepare workstation and machines.
• Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements.
• Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems.
• Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.
• Check final assembly for finish, labeling, and packaging methods.
• Complete other tasks as required and/or directed.
• Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.

Skills

• Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to distinguish between colors.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English.
• Intermediate computer literacy; ability to analyze and interpret data read-outs.
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, leads, coworkers, etc.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic issues with machinery/position.
• Soldering experience is an asset.
• Coachable and willing to learn.
• Dependable and reliable (attendance & punctuality).
• Team and customer oriented.
• Problem Solving.
• Continuous learning focused.
• Ability to lift objects less than 25 pounds and team lift objects approximately 60 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk and work on feet for 8+ hours.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year minimum Production experience, 2 years preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting Hourly Wage of $21/hr.
• Paid Time Off (vacation, sick, and holiday).
