Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Production Operator II role in Burlington, WA. Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment to ensure efficient and continuous operation.
- Perform advanced equipment setups, changeovers, and minor mechanical adjustments as needed.
- Lead or assist in training Production Operator I team members on processes, procedures, and safety practices.
- Conduct in-depth quality inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activity, quality results, downtime, and material usage.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify, report, and support resolution of mechanical or technical issues.
- Adhere to all plant safety procedures, quality guidelines, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HACCP, GMPs).
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of production and equipment areas.
- Support continuous improvement efforts, suggesting process enhancements to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinating material flow to maintain uninterrupted production.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality standards, and production workflows.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to document information accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Competitive hourly wage with pay dependent on experience. $18-$20 DOE.
