Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Planner role-based in Burlington, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for operational excellence, reliability, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. With a focus on maximizing equipment uptime and supporting high-volume manufacturing operations, they pride themselves on maintaining efficiency and performance across their production environment.

Location:

  • Salary: $81,000 – $88,000

  • Relocation assistance available if needed

  • Onsite role (WA-based)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and reliability-based maintenance activities in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Scope maintenance work orders, including labor estimates, tools, materials, and required resources.
  • Utilize the CMMS as a reliability and asset management tool, not just for work order tracking.
  • Own and manage CMMS data accuracy, maintenance strategies, and asset histories.
  • Plan and schedule PMs around production needs to minimize downtime and disruption.
  • Coordinate planned versus unplanned downtime in collaboration with maintenance and production teams.
  • Support reliability initiatives by tracking and analyzing MTBF, PM compliance, and equipment performance.
  • Work closely with operations to support Just-In-Time manufacturing requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive maintenance-related initiatives.
  • Support overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) improvement efforts through effective planning and coordination.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of maintenance planning experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in preventive maintenance and reliability-based maintenance.
  • Hands‑on CMMS experience in manufacturing, including system ownership (not just usage).
  • Proven understanding of CMMS as a reliability and asset management tool.
  • Experience planning and scheduling maintenance activities around production demands.
  • Familiarity with production‑critical equipment.
  • Working knowledge of MTBF, PM compliance, and OEE.
  • Experience supporting Just‑In‑Time (JIT) manufacturing environments.
  • Self‑directed, motivated “go-getter” who drives initiatives independently.
  • Creative, outside‑the‑box thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
