Munson Boats manufactures welded aluminum boats for worldwide clients, including fire/rescue boats, research vessels, high‑speed patrol boats, and USCG‑certified passenger boats. All vessels are assembled in a state‑of‑the‑art production facility with radiant‑floor heat for year‑round comfort. The position is full‑time with a four‑day workweek (Monday‑Thursday, 10‑hour shifts), offering a beneficial work‑life balance.
Pay & Signing BonusBase pay: $36.00/hr – $43.00/hr all compensation is based on skills and experience.
Signing bonus: $5,000 for Welder Fabricators with at least 2 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high‑quality aluminum welding with a focus on structural integrity and aesthetics.
- Fabricate and assemble aluminum hulls, decks, fuel tanks, and other vessel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure precise fit‑up and proper welding techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Work efficiently within a 3‑4 person team under the direction of a lead supervisor.
- Four‑day workweek (Monday‑Thursday) with Friday off.
- Paid vacation – up to 3 weeks based on time served.
