Pet Vet Care Centers' Chuckanut Valley Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative / Receptionist to join their team!

Position Overview
  • The Customer Service Representative / Receptionist contributes to the success of a high‑performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provides excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
  • Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
  • Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
  • Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
  • Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
  • Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
  • Reconciles cash drawer and performs end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
Qualifications (Required)
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Background in call center work is highly preferred; experience in any face‑to‑face customer service role is also valuable.
  • Key qualities include friendliness, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, as the role involves responding to emails and handling customer inquiries efficiently.
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
  • Background in animal welfare; previous experience in a veterinary clinic is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Cornerstone or other veterinary practice management software.
  • Ability to efficiently schedule doctors' time and manage clinic appointments.
  • Strong communication skills for responding to clients in a friendly and timely manner.
Schedule
  • 7 AM - 6 PM, Monday
  • 8 AM - 5 PM, Tuesday‑Friday
  • One day off per week, determined by scheduling needs
  • 4‑day work week required;
    Mondays are mandatory

Pay Range

$18.20 - $22.24 USD
