Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Quality Technician role in Burlington, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:- Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Utilize measurement tools and inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM when applicable) to verify product conformity.
- Accurately document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions within internal quality systems.
- Assist with maintaining clear and concise instructions/programs for proper inspection methods.
- Report any deviations, defects, or quality concerns promptly to supervisors and appropriate departments.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in inspection areas while following safety and quality guidelines (e.g., ISO, GMP, or applicable standards).
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and promote continuous improvement.
- Participate in routine calibration checks and assist in ensuring inspection equipment is functioning correctly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or coursework in Quality, Manufacturing, or related fields is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of inspection methods and use of basic measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Knowledge of quality systems or CMM inspection is a plus (training may be provided).
