Overview
Auto Glass Technician (Experienced) – First Class Auto Glass
Hours:
40 a week.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday. Wages: $22-25 (DOE).
- Inspect vehicle glass for damage and confirm parts.
- Remove and install windshields, door glass, back glass, vents, and quarters; experience with body shop pulls (remove and install).
- Follow Sika product specifications and applications; apply adhesives; provide proper glass repairs both mobile and in shop.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards; manage inventory; accurately record work; provide excellent customer service by communicating with customers and completing all necessary paperwork.
- Keep work areas tidy before, during, and after repairs (customer locations, vans, and in shop).
- Must be 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift 25-40 lbs (when moving glass/parts).
- Detail-oriented.
- Proven experience in auto glass repair and installation.
- Willing to learn.
- Technician Certifications (if not currently certified must be willing to obtain).
