This is not an event planning position.

This is a true sales role for a professional who enjoys owning a pipeline, converting opportunities, and being directly responsible for revenue growth. You'll guide prospective couples and event clients through the sales journey, create exceptional first impressions, and help them envision their event at Mercantile Hall.

As our Sales Manager, you'll own the sales process from initial inquiry through signed contract.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing inbound leads and responding quickly and professionally
• Conducting engaging venue tours that inspire clients and drive urgency
• Building relationships through consultative selling
• Creating customized proposals and solutions for prospective clients
• Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline within our CRM
• Consistently following up to maximize conversion opportunities
• Achieving monthly and annual booking goals
• Developing referral relationships and business partnerships
• Partnering with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion
• Delivering an exceptional client experience from first contact through contract signing

• Wedding industry sales experience
• Venue, hospitality, catering, hotel, or event sales experience
• Experience selling high-value services, experiences, or luxury products
• A track record of exceeding revenue goals in a performance-driven environment

• $70,000 base salary
• Up to $20,000 annual performance bonus
• On-Target Earnings of $90,000
