Junior Bookkeeper​/Admin

Our client at People Prodigy Recruitment is looking for a dependable and organized Junior Bookkeeper to join our small architecture firm in Burnaby. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will help with basic bookkeeping and day-to-day financial tasks.

This role is great for someone with 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience who wants to continue learning and growing in a supportive office environment.

• Enter and process invoices and payments
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Keep financial records organized (digital and paper files)
• Help prepare basic monthly reports

• 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Basic understanding of Canadian accounting practices
• Experience with invoicing and record-keeping
• Comfortable using accounting software (such as Quick Books)
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and other office programs
• Bookkeeping certificate is helpful but not required

• Detail-oriented and organized
• Reliable and responsible
• Willing to learn and be trained
• Able to manage time well
• Comfortable working in an office setting
