Your Role in a Snapshot:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting for the senior living management company and related entities, including the Master LP structure. This role focuses on intercompany transactions, management fee allocations, consolidated reporting support, and monthly financial reporting across multiple entities. Working closely with finance leadership and operations, the Senior Accountant ensures accurate, timely reporting, supports lender and compliance requirements, and contributes to continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong multi‑entity accounting experience, hands‑on Yardi Voyager expertise, and a solid understanding of management company and partnership structures in a fast‑paced environment.

Your Day to Day:
  • Manage full‑cycle accounting for the management company and related entities, including the Master LP entity
  • Maintain day‑to‑day accounting operations including revenues, expenses, accruals, and intercompany transactions
  • Prepare and process monthly management fee allocations and billings to operating entities
  • Coordinate and record shared corporate cost allocations across multiple residences and entities
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure timely settlement of transactions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting working papers
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet schedules
  • Support cash flow monitoring and financial reporting requirements
  • Ensure lender reporting packages and bank covenant reporting are completed accurately and on time
  • Liaise with Yardi support to troubleshoot system, reporting, and accounting issues
  • Support Yardi maintenance, reporting optimization, and workflow improvements
  • Assist with month‑end close, journal entries, accruals, and financial analysis
  • Support audit preparation, year‑end working papers, and tax‑related schedules
  • Review accounting processes and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting deadlines
  • Support special projects and ad hoc financial reporting requests
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in senior living, property management, real estate, or multi‑entity environments
  • Strong experience with intercompany accounting, management fee allocations, and consolidated reporting
  • Experience with LP / partnership structures strongly preferred
  • Hands‑on experience with Yardi Voyager, including troubleshooting and operational support
  • Experience with lender reporting and bank covenant compliance
  • Strong understanding of full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, multi‑entity accounting, intercompany reconciliations, management company accounting, and month‑end close processes
  • CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Yardi Voyager
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands‑on, accountable, and solution‑oriented mindset
