McLaren Trefanenko Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant / Tax Expert to join our forward-thinking team. Engage in tax preparation and financial statement tasks while utilizing the latest technology.

In this full-time, permanent role, you will leverage your background in preparing personal (T1), corporate (T2), and estate (T3) tax returns. With a minimum of five years of experience in public practice or industry, your knowledge will also encompass bookkeeping, compilations, and audits. We emphasize delivering detailed financial insights and quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare all types of tax returns efficiently

• Develop financial statements and perform limited audits

• Communicate proactively with clients regarding financial matters

• Handle correspondence with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)

• Organize and manage projects effectively

Requirements:

• Minimum five years in accounting field

• Expertise in financial statement preparation

• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail

• Problem-solving mindset with self-drive

• Background checks will be required
