Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

Overview

Agilus is recruiting for a Accountant in the retail industry in Burnaby, British Columbia.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions including high volume invoicing
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Handling intercompany transactions
• Process payments and prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain and update financial records and documentation

• 3+ years of experience in the accounting field (AP/AR)
• Solid AR/AP experience
• Handled accounting duties for multiple companies at a time preferred
• Experience working with multiple currencies highly desirable
• Can-do attitude with the ability to juggle priorities and be a team player
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Intermediate MS Excel user
• High volume invoice experience preferred

• Total rewards: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually
• 2 weeks vacation
