This full-time role reports to the Supervisor of General Accounting. You will engage in vital accounting functions, including auditing, monthly journal entries, and team training. Seek opportunities to assist with month-end and year-end activities while ensuring accuracy in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Corporate Purchasing Card compliance audits
• Perform monthly journal entries and adjustments
• Provide training to purchasing card users
• Assist in month-end and year-end accounting tasks
• Ensure adherence to BC Housing's accounting policies
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in clerical accounting in a computerized environment
• Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting principles
• Strong detail orientation and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
