Accounting Specialist for Senior Living

Location: New Westminster

Support vibrant retirement communities as an Accountant with Prima Living in Vancouver, BC or Ontario. This full-time role involves essential accounting tasks to enhance senior living operations.

As a key member of Prima Living's financial team, you will manage daily accounting operations for retirement residences. Your experience with Yardi Voyager software will be invaluable as you process accounts payable, monitor resident billing, and perform bank reconciliations. Effective coordination with operations teams will contribute to month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations for retirement residences

• Process accounts payable and run payments efficiently

• Monitor accounts receivable and resident billing processes

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for accuracy

• Support month-end close and reconciliation activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Preferred experience in senior living or property management

• Proficient in Yardi Voyager accounting software

• Attention to detail with high accuracy

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
