The Payroll and Accounting Support Clerk reports to the Accountant and is responsible for executing payroll processes, maintaining financial records, and assisting in administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will have a passion for serving seniors and possess essential accounting skills to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions and communications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process payroll and reconcile employee expense reports
• Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain accurate historical records of transactions
• Participate in rent review processes for residents
• Assist in handling inquiries from staff and residents
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of accounting and payroll guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
