Manufacturing Senior Accountant

Join a dedicated team at a manufacturing company in Burnaby, BC, as a Senior Accountant. You'll engage in essential cost and inventory accounting in an active setting from day one.

This role partners closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and management. As a newly designated CPA or nearing designation, you will enhance your skills in the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations. Your focus on cost accounting, job costing, and WIP tracking will significantly impact the business's financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle including AP and AR

• Conduct month-end and year-end financial close tasks

• Perform cost accounting activities and overhead allocation

• Assist with inventory valuation and cycle counts

• Collaborate with operations on costing and inventory queries

Requirements:

• Designated CPA or nearing designation

• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience

• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• Eagerness to learn in a manufacturing environment
