Accountant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections, Bookkeeper​/ Accounting Clerk

Payroll Guardian International, Inc. (PGi) is currently looking for an Accountant to join our team!

• Oversee accounting functions, addressing day-to-day accounting related inquiries.
• Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Posting, balancing and monthly reconciliation of general ledgers, cash books, journals, journalize bank accounts and deposits.
• Monthly account reconciliations including remittances, banks and corporate credit cards, and prepare invoices for intercompany billing.
• Manages and liaises with current vendors.
• Assist with cash flow reporting and variance analysis when needed.
• Calculate, file and remit all necessary government transactions including GST/PST returns.
• Assist with annual external audit.
• Create and manage accounting policies and procedures.

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in an accounting environment in Canada.
• Minimum 2-3 years Quick Books experience.
• Post-Secondary certificate, diploma or degree in a related field.
• Must have strong written and verbal English skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word).
• Ability to handle confidential material with discretion.
