Accounting and Financial Specialist – BC

Join a leading battery management company in Burnaby as an Accounting and Financial Specialist. This full-time position involves managing essential accounting functions and financial strategies.

As part of the Canada R&D Center team, you'll be responsible for day-to-day accounting, preparing financial statements, and maintaining budgets. Ideal candidates will bring at least 3 years of experience in finance and possess a strong grasp of Canadian accounting practices. You'll work independently while collaborating with external accountants and supporting investor reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting including AR/AP and payroll duties

• Prepare and maintain timely financial statements

• Develop and manage budgets and cash flow analysis

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support audits

• Assist in preparing internal reports and presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required

• CPA designation or in progress is an asset

• Minimum of 3 years relevant finance/accounting experience

• Proficient with accounting software and payroll systems

• Ability to read/write Chinese is a beneficial asset
