Pension Accountant at Convyta

In this role, you will be responsible for routine accounting functions, account reconciliations, and maintaining effective relationships with the members and trustees of pension plans. Your meticulous approach and strong analytical abilities will ensure the financial integrity and smooth operation of our clients' plans while delivering valuable support to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and maintain financial records

• Conduct financial analysis and monitor outstanding receivables

• Facilitate vendor payments and investigate payment issues

• Support annual audits and ensure compliance with regulations

• Update cash flow for various plans and reconcile payments

Requirements:

• Post-secondary training in financial management

• Minimum two years of accounting experience in related fields

• Strong organizational and relationship-building skills

• Advanced knowledge of software including Microsoft Office Suite

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively
