Project Accounting

Position: Project Accounting at EXP
Excel in project accounting with EXP as a Project Accountant located in Burnaby, BC. Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance to drive project success.

This role focuses on managing all aspects of project accounting, including preparing detailed financial reports and variance analyses monthly. You will ensure compliance with client contracts and corporate accounting policies while working alongside project managers to troubleshoot financial performance issues. Your responsibilities will extend to processing invoices and managing accounts receivable effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses

• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and contracts

• Collaborate with project managers on financial performance

• Process invoices and monitor accounts receivable

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field

• 3-5 years of project accounting experience

• Strong accounting principles knowledge

• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
