Lead Canadian tax compliance and compilation work as a Senior Tax Accountant in Burnaby, working in office with Vancouver Island travel.
This full-time permanent CPA public practice role supports partners on owner-managed business engagements. You will apply ASPE and CSRS 4200 while using Case Ware for financial statements and working papers. The practice serves individuals, estates, charities, and not-for-profit organizations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review compilation engagements under CSRS 4200
- Prepare corporate T2, personal T1, trust, and estate T3 returns
- Review Case Ware working papers and financial statements
- Research accounting and tax issues for partner review
- Coach staff through file review and practical training
- At least five years of Canadian public practice experience
- Strong compilation and corporate tax experience
- Knowledge of ASPE, CSRS 4200, and private company matters
- Proficiency with Case Ware, Profile, and Quick Books Online
- Ability to travel to Vancouver Island as required
