In this role, you will report to the Division Manager, providing essential information and administrative support to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy program. Your contributions will include processing requests, training personnel, investigating privacy issues, and conducting privacy impact assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support FOIPP program with administrative tasks
• Process information requests under FOIP legislation
• Train staff on FOIPP compliance and procedures
• Investigate privacy breaches and complaints
• Develop and execute privacy impact assessments
Requirements:
• 5 years of relevant experience in administrative roles
• Certificate in Local Government Administration is a plus
• Strong understanding of administrative practices
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and records management systems
Deliver critical support to Metro Vancouver's privacy initiatives while promoting transparency and compliance.
