Location: New Westminster
Shape the futures of newcomers in Canada as a Part-Time Registrar for the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program. In this in-office role in New Westminster, you will guide students and manage registrations effectively.
The Registrar will work 12 hours each week from Monday to Thursday, ensuring student enrollment into LINC classes is seamless. Key tasks include advising students on available courses, assisting with applications, and overseeing student records while maintaining a supportive environment. You will monitor seat availability, update databases, and generate required documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise students on LINC course options
• Handle registrations and orient new students
• Maintain class lists and student records
• Coordinate waitlists and class scheduling
• Distribute transportation allowances and tickets
Requirements:
• Certificate/diploma in office administration or related field
• Two years of experience or equivalent
• Strong English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases
• Clear provincial Criminal Record Check
