Become a Program Assistant II at JIBC, supporting the Control Tactics Training with essential administrative and coordination tasks. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment.
At the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC), the Program Assistant II will play a vital role in supporting Control Tactics Training programs. Your primary duties will include coordinating role player intake, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating effective communication with instructors. You will also provide administrative support for key events like the International Use of Force Expert Conference, contributing to the program's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate intake and scheduling for role players
• Maintain records and administrative documentation
• Support planning and delivery of CTT courses
• Assist with CTT newsletters and training initiatives
• Ensure compliance with program standards and agency liaison
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma with 2 years relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mail Chimp
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with data management and record-keeping
