Role & Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service by determining each prospective client’s vehicle needs through questioning and active listening.
Promote new business and expand the customer base through prospecting and referrals.
Selling new and pre-owned vehicles and demonstrate vehicles (including test drives).
Understand automotive industry terminology and stay informed about product and inventory changes.
Be thoroughly familiar with all products, including features, specifications, prices, colors, options, and standard equipment; participate in product training as available.
Use closing techniques effectively; seek management assistance when needed and stay profit-minded during closing.
Deliver vehicles to customers and explain operating features, warranties, and paperwork to foster customer loyalty.
Introduce customers to Service Department personnel to highlight service quality and efficiency.
Set monthly productivity goals and plan how to achieve them.
Follow dealership processes to maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index across sales, delivery and follow-up.
Attend department meetings as required.
Follow company safety policies and report any accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned by management and supports organizational needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate professionally with others.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong computer skills (internet & MS Office) with ability to maintain records in a computerized system.
Effective negotiation skills and the ability to make sound decisions aligned with job functions.
A current VSA MDC License.
A valid British Columbia Driver’s License with a good driving record.
