We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Superintendent to oversee on‑site construction activities for projects up to $4M. This is a full‑time, on‑site role requiring strong leadership, coordination with trades, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily on‑site construction operations in accordance with plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site staff to ensure efficient and quality work.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to project management.
- Enforce safety practices and compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and maintain accurate site documentation (daily reports, RFIs, logs).
- Coordinate material deliveries and equipment logistics to support construction sequencing.
- Proactively address on‑site challenges to minimize delays and cost impacts.
- Support project close‑out, including punch lists and turnover processes.
- Minimum 7 years experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role within a GC environment.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects up to $4M.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and BC building standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret and act on construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and sound decision‑making under pressure.
- Familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore).
