Project Technologist

Position: Project Technologist at BC Housing
Become a Project Technologist with BC Housing, overseeing project compliance with design and construction standards. Ensure quality and safety through inspections and contract administration.

This role reports to the assigned Manager, focusing on maintaining standards for construction projects. As a Project Technologist, you will conduct detailed plan reviews, perform site inspections, and provide essential contract administration services. You will also monitor the performance of inspectors and other professionals involved in the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct plan and specification reviews for compliance

• Oversee site inspections during construction phases

• Provide contract administration services effectively

• Monitor work quality of inspectors and general contractors

• Ensure adherence to building standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Diploma in building, engineering, or architectural technology

• significant experience in contract administration and inspections

• Strong knowledge of BC Building Code and municipal procedures

• Proficient in MS Office and relevant construction software

• Valid BC Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation
