Norland Limited is a leading provider of civil contracting, construction management, environmental services, demolition, and aggregate supply across British Columbia. The Norland Yard in Burnaby serves as a central hub supporting multiple Norland divisions by coordinating equipment, tools, and materials essential to construction operations.
Duties & Responsibilities- Maintain yard cleanliness, organization, and safe working conditions
- Organize and store construction materials, equipment, and supplies
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and deliveries
- Prepare materials and equipment for crew mobilizations
- Clean, organize, and stage tools and light equipment
- Assist with tracking and tagging tools and equipment
- Inspect equipment for damage and report issues
- Assist with incoming and outgoing equipment coordination
- Support drivers, operators, mechanics, and field personnel
- Assist with inventory counts and yard organization
- Help coordinate yard movements and material handling
- Follow Norland Limited safety policies and procedures
- Wear required PPE at all times
- Maintain safe work practices and report hazards immediately
- Participate in safety meetings and required training
- Previous labor, yard, warehouse, or construction experience considered an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Civil construction yard experience
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience handling construction tools and materials
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Strong organizational skills

Expected hourly rate: $25 per hour (based on candidate’s experience), standard vacation and statutory holiday pay.
