Location: Lower Mainland, BC
Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 + Vehicle + Bonus + Benefits

Match Box Consulting Group is excited to partner with a well-established construction contractor in the search for a Superintendent to join their growing field operations team.

With over 25 years in business, our client has built a strong reputation across residential, commercial, and mixed‑use construction throughout the Lower Mainland. Their work supports major building projects across a range of specialty scopes, including interior systems, building envelope, fireproofing, drywall, insulation, fire stopping, finishing, and other trade‑driven construction packages.

This is a strong opportunity for a field leader who enjoys managing multiple active sites, coordinating crews and trades, solving problems before they slow the job down, and keeping projects moving from startup through completion.

This is not a single‑site GC Superintendent role. It is best suited to someone who understands trade coordination, production, manpower planning, site readiness, quality control, and the pace of working across several active projects at once.

• Lead day‑to‑day field operations across multiple active construction projects
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, site supers, PMs, and other project stakeholders
• Monitor schedules and proactively address issues affecting production
• Conduct site inspections, quality control reviews, and deficiency walkthroughs
• Support manpower planning and resource allocation across active jobs
• Coordinate material deliveries, site logistics, and project readiness
• Prepare progress reports, site documentation, photos, and project updates
• Ensure work is completed to project specifications, company standards, and site requirements
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure field teams meet safety expectations
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and site inspections
• Mentor field personnel and support workforce development
• Track company tools, equipment, ladders, scaffolding, and site resources

• Experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, Site Supervisor, or senior field lead
• Background in specialty contracting, sub‑trade coordination, or trade‑driven construction scopes
• Experience in areas such as drywall, fireproofing, insulation, fire stopping, building envelope, interiors, finishing, framing, mechanical, electrical, or related construction packages is an asset
• Strong understanding of wood‑frame, concrete, residential, commercial, or mixed‑use construction
• Ability to manage multiple projects, crews, and priorities at the same time
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with site supers, PMs, trades, suppliers, and internal teams
• Ability to identify site readiness issues and keep work moving efficiently
• Knowledge of construction safety requirements and best practices
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between project sites

• Salary range of $85,000 – $110,000, depending on experience
