Construction Safety Coordinator in Revelstoke

As a Qualified Coordinator, you will oversee health and safety measures on-site, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a collaborative, safety-focused culture. This 12-month contract role requires extensive experience in multi-contractor environments and a deep understanding of safety regulations. Your strong leadership and communication skills will be vital for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as Qualified Coordinator on multi-employer worksites
• Coordinate health and safety activities among contractors
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations
• Conduct workplace inspections and monitor safety programs
• Lead site safety meetings and contractor orientations
Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years in a construction safety role
• Experience with infrastructure and utility projects
• Strong understanding of multi-employer safety needs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• High school diploma or equivalent
