BELFOR Estimate Writer in Estimating

Step into the role of Estimate Writer at BELFOR (Canada) Inc., focusing on data entry and Xactware Software Suite expertise. This position requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills while meeting deadlines for both residential and commercial estimates.

As an Estimate Writer, you will collaborate with the Operations/General Manager and the estimating team to develop accurate estimates according to BELFOR standards. Your responsibilities will include creating floor plans using Xactimate Sketch, data entry for emergency and repair scopes, and ensuring estimates are uploaded to Xactanalysis. Effective communication with job sites is crucial, as well as demanding multitasking under time constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate estimates following BELFOR standards

• Use Xactimate Sketch for floor plans

• Enter data for emergency and repair scopes

• Upload completed estimates to Xactanalysis

• Maintain current Procedure Manuals as needed

Requirements:

• Experience with Xactimate or Xactanalysis is preferred

• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle eligibility

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Background in construction or insurance industries preferred

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
