Lead demolition and hazardous materials estimating for West Crow Contracting Ltd. in Burnaby, using Excel and detailed scope analysis daily.
As Senior Estimator, you will own bids from lead through signed contract. You will price demolition and abatement scopes, support profitable project completion, and coordinate with project coordination and operations teams. The work covers asbestos, lead, and mould scopes for Lower Mainland clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and qualify inbound leads against company objectives
- Analyze drawings, specifications, photos, addenda, and hazmat surveys
- Build estimates, budgets, and change orders using proprietary metrics
- Calculate labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Coordinate change work with supervisors, subcontractors, engineers, and clients
- Five-plus years of general construction estimating experience
- Knowledge of asbestos, lead, mould abatement, and WorkSafeBC requirements
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, and hazmat survey reports
- Strong Excel skills; estimating software or Buildertrend experience beneficial
- Understanding of contracts and change order processes
