Out client is seeking a highly motivated Client Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Burnaby, BC. This role sits at the heart of our client experience, supporting a global base of institutional and retail investors. The mission is to deliver distinctive, world-class service that leaves a lasting positive impression and builds long-term client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing timely, accurate, and thoughtful communication.
  • Support client onboarding processes, including facilitating account openings and maintaining up-to-date client records.
  • Execute core operational processes related to transfer agency functions, including KYC, transaction processing, and client money reconciliations.
  • Verify client transactions and validate sensitive client information with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with global Fund Operations teams and other business units to ensure seamless information flow.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and partner with technology teams to implement innovative solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
What You Must Have
  • Undergraduate degree with a strong record of academic achievement.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience (including internships or co‑op placements) demonstrating growth and success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage clients clearly and empathetically.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Self‑starter mentality with a proactive approach to challenges.
