Position Overview

The Tier 1 Patient and Member Support Representative plays a critical role in providing outstanding customer service to patients and members within a call center environment. The position involves managing inbound calls, emails, and chats to address inquiries, resolve issues, coordinate queues, and provide information about Teladoc Health services. The representative ensures high customer satisfaction by addressing concerns professionally and efficiently, while occasionally handling crisis situations.

The role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of an energetic team, with outstanding telephonic communication abilities and superior problem‑solving capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries.
  • Resolve issues and provide accurate information regarding Teladoc Health services.
  • Coordinate call queues and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Address customer concerns professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Handle crisis situations as needed.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within the team.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional empathy and active engagement with members and patients.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong problem‑solving capabilities and organizational acumen.
  • Adaptability to new processes in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
Benefits
  • Earn $24 CAD per hour.
  • Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week with the option to work more.
  • Flexible work schedule:
    Monday to Friday 5:00AM–9:00AM EST, Thursday and Friday 8:00PM–12:00AM EST, Saturday and Sunday 5:00AM–10:30AM EST.
