Position:
Instructor –Dental Clinic Management & Administration Certificate
- Deliver course content for the Dental Clinic Management & Administration Certificate
, including: - Dental office administration
- Patient scheduling and records management
- Dental terminology and anatomy basics
- Billing procedures and insurance coordination
- Clinic workflow management
Infection control standards and regulatory compliance - Professional communication and customer service
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with program learning outcomes.
- Facilitate in-person, online, or blended learning sessions using learning management systems (LMS).
- Supervise practical components, simulations, and case-based exercises related to dental clinic operations.
- Evaluate assignments, projects, and assessments in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate attendance and academic records in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Support students with academic guidance and professional development advice.
- Ensure that all teaching materials reflect current industry standards and best practices within dental administration.
- Diploma or degree in Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in a dental clinic setting (administration, management, or clinical support roles).
- Previous teaching or training experience in post-secondary or adult education environments is strongly preferred.
- Dental software systems
- Insurance billing and claims processing
- BC healthcare and privacy regulations
- Infection prevention and control standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Experience working with diverse adult learners in a professional education setting.
