Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and familiarity with dental office operations. Prior experience with CLEARDENT SOFTWARE is highly valued. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.

Duties
  • Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
  • Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records using Cleardent
  • Collect payments and process billing accurately
  • Assist with patient check-out procedures and follow-up appointments
  • Maintain organized front desk area and ensure all patient forms are completed correctly
  • Answer inquiries regarding dental services, office policies, and appointment availability
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely patient flow and efficient office operations
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
Skills
  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental office
  • Proficiency with Cleardent software is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle multiple phone lines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Dental office procedures, insurance verification, and billing processes
  • Professional appearance and friendly demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients
