Intern Architect AIBC

Position: Intern Architect AIBC Wanted
AECOM is hiring an Intern Architect AIBC to enhance their Vancouver, BC team. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong technical skills and effective communication in a collaborative setting.

As a newly established position at AECOM, this role is perfect for those with less than six years of experience but looking to contribute meaningfully to architectural projects. Candidates must be registered with AIBC and have a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include developing design documents, coordinating interdisciplinary projects, and ensuring compliance with local standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of design presentation documents

• Conduct document reviews and ensure inter-disciplinary coordination

• Help in project coordination with both internal and external teams

• Participate in improving existing procedures and workflows

• Check own work and ensure quality for project deliverables

Requirements:

• University degree in Architecture

• Minimum four years' experience in an architectural office

• Registered with AIBC as Intern Architect or Architect

• Knowledge of REVIT, BIM, and MS Office

• Strong communication skills required
