Job Summary

The Royal Columbian Hospital is seeking one full‑time obstetrician and gynecologist. The successful candidate will join a group of 10 other OBGYNs and will be expected to participate in the on‑call roster for the high‑risk obstetrics unit, provide office consultation for high‑risk obstetrical cases, and maintain a general gynecology practice. Experience in complex obstetrical surgical procedures such as cesarean myomectomy and placenta accreta spectrum disorder cases is preferred.

The group includes subspecialists in urogynecology, minimally invasive surgery and maternal‑fetal medicine and values quality assurance, medical education and department administration.

The hospital is a tertiary care general medical and surgical facility with a perinatal unit that cares for >3,000 deliveries per year and a 24‑bed NICU. A new perinatal unit will open in April 2026. As a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, the candidate will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and may apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Obstetrics & Gynecology, UBC.

Compensation: Fee for service, MOCAP and on‑call payments
