General Practitioner/ Family Doctor (FT, PT, Casual) at Sage Medical Clinic.

Location:

102-245 E Columbia Street, New Westminster.

  • A dynamic medical team located in front of Royal Columbia Hospital. 4 clinic rooms, a kitchen, and an adjoining pharmacy. You’ll work closely with pharmacists, LPNs, and MOAs to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Located within the Keary Medical Centre with proximity to specialists such as cardiologists, endocrinologists, and general surgeons. Opportunity for academic research and career advancement.
  • EMR System:
    Oscar Pro
  • Payment Split: 85% to the doctor, 15% to the clinic. Payment options include LFP (Longitudinal Family Physician) or Fee-for-Service.
  • Opportunities for individual GPs or group practices; strong infrastructure and collaborative work environment.

Your Day To Day
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
  • Conduct routine check-ups, preventative care, and screenings.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, LPNs, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records using the Oscar Pro EMR system.
What You Bring To The Table
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and licensed to practice in British Columbia.
  • Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or equivalent.
  • Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-focused care.
  • (Preferred) Experience in community practice, managing complex cases, or working in collaborative healthcare teams.
  • (Preferred) Ongoing involvement in medical education or research activities.
  • Must complete a criminal background check prior to hire, including Vulnerable Sector Screening, per provincial and federal regulations.
