Outpatient Psychiatrist with VCH

As a Psychiatrist, you will conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment for adults facing various psychiatric challenges. In collaboration with healthcare professionals, you will ensure high-quality, individualized treatment plans while contributing to the training of future medical experts. Your involvement in clinical and educational activities will play a pivotal role in community health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment

• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare providers

• Facilitate medication reviews and therapy referrals

• Mentor and train medical students and residents

• Participate in ongoing clinical activities and on-call support

Requirements:

• Medical Degree and eligibility for full licensure in British Columbia

• Minimum of 3 years in independent clinical practice

• Psychiatry specialist qualification

• CMPA and FRCPC credentialing mandatory

• Experience with general adult psychiatry
