Full-Time Hospitalist Hospital

This full-time position at Burnaby Hospital involves managing unattached patients and offering supportive care for surgical and psychiatric cases. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent clinical and communication abilities while working closely with nursing and allied health teams. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a willingness to participate in quality improvement are essential traits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Most Responsible Physician for unattached patients

• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain high-quality patient care during shifts

• Participate in administrative and committee functions

• Share intake shifts, including evenings and weekends

Requirements:

• CCFP certification

• CPSBC Full Licensure required

• ACLS certification preferred

• Experience in Hospitalist work is beneficial

• Interest in quality improvement initiatives
