Take on a leadership role as the Interim Local Medical Lead at Fraser Health, specializing in addiction medicine. This position promotes health and wellness within the community.
Your core responsibilities will include managing the Local Fraser North Rapid Access to Addiction Care Services, ensuring adherence to regional standards, and developing quality improvement strategies. Collaborating with the Program Medical Director and participating in MHSU meetings will enhance service provision across the region. You’ll also promote a respectful workplace while maintaining vital communication among healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead addiction medicine initiatives effectively
• Align services with evidence-informed guidelines
• Collaborate on improvement strategies
• Attend and contribute to Regional MHSU meetings
• Manage departmental communication and coordination
Requirements:
• Active CPSBC licensure and CMPA coverage
• CCFP or FRCPC mandatory
• Member of Fraser Health Authority’s MHSU Program
• Commitment to learning and professional advancement
• Strong leadership presence and communication skills
