Join the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Royal Columbian Hospital in British Columbia. We seek skilled Anesthesiologists to provide comprehensive perioperative care and on-call coverage.
You will become part of a collaborative team operating at both Royal Columbian Hospital and Eagle Ridge Hospital.
This role offers opportunities in subspecialty areas such as neuroanesthesia and cardiac anesthesia, while participating in hands-on teaching and clinical research. The teaching expectations include mentoring medical learners and leading departmental quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver perioperative care across diverse clinical services
• Provide out-of-operating-room services as needed
• Oversee on-call coverage efficiently
• Mentor residents and medical students in clinical settings
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement projects
Requirements:
• Fellowship in Anesthesiology or equivalent clinical expertise
• Eligible for full licensure with CPSBC
• Eligibility for clinical faculty appointment with UBC and SFU
• Commitment to teaching and research activities
• Open to Canadian and International Medical Graduates
