We are seeking an Educational Assistant in the Burnaby area for the  school year for IN-CLASS support In-Class Opportunities - Friday's 8:45- 2:45 pm SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Educational Assistants are key members of our dynamic classroom teams. They assist in our inclusive classrooms to ensure all students, including those with disabilities, are supported and benefit from learning activities and instruction. They will also help the classroom teacher with a variety of organization tasks such as taking attendance, preparing learning materials and directing small groups. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, CREDENTIALS AND/OR

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Experience and/or EA certification is highly valued for this role, as it demonstrates a solid foundation in supporting students with diverse learning needs. However, we also welcome candidates who possess a strong interest, related experience, or relevant training, coupled with a genuine willingness to learn and grow in this field. We are seeking individuals who embody Christian values and possess an empathetic nature.

We value individuals who exhibit flexibility, creativity, patience, and enthusiasm. Experience working with school-aged children, along with a background in special needs, is advantageous but not required. First Aid with CPR and AED level B or C are a required Remuneration:
