Support student success at Centre Canada Newcomer Services as a Personal Counsellor focused on academic pathways and enrichment opportunities. Assist learners in grades 6-12 throughout the Future Bridge Academy Program.

Centre Canada Newcomer Services Society is hiring a Personal Counsellor for the Future Bridge Academy Program. In this advisory capacity, you will research and present opportunities to aid students in their educational choices, ensuring they receive tailored support. Ideal for candidates aged 15-30, this position drives student engagement and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, organize, and summarize academic resources

• Conduct student intake interviews to identify needs

• Match students with academic and extracurricular programs

• Collaborate with school staff for program effectiveness

• Maintain comprehensive student records confidentially

Requirements:

• Aged 15-30 on the job start date

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Fluency in English; multilingual abilities are a plus

• Willingness to commit to full-time in-person hours
