We're seeking an instructor with 2-3 years of practical surveying experience, alongside proficiency in using surveying equipment and educational technology.
Your role will involve preparing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and guiding students through the curriculum. Past instructional experience and a willingness to enhance teaching abilities are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare course outlines and lesson plans for approval
• Deliver approved curriculum and manage classroom interactions
• Advise on learning outcomes and student activities
• Administer and grade exams, maintaining accurate records
• Provide weekly office hours for student support
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years field experience in surveying
• Knowledge of surveying equipment and GPS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use educational technology effectively
• Registered with ASTTBC as Technologist or Technician preferred
