Part-Time Faculty in Interior Design BCIT

The British Columbia Institute of Technology is hiring a dedicated Faculty member for its Interior Design program. This role focuses on teaching 3rd and 4th-year students and may include 2nd-year courses when applicable. Applicants should be passionate about teaching, mentoring, and building positive relationships with students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct engaging lectures and hands-on labs for students
• Design and update course curricula based on industry standards
• Provide constructive assessments to guide student improvement
• Create a supportive and energetic atmosphere in the classroom
• Collaborate on program initiatives for curriculum accreditation
Requirements:
• Preferred Bachelor Degree in Interior Design
• Required NCIDQ certification for candidates
• Minimum of ten years in commercial interior design
• Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
• Strong communication and organizational skills
