Lead EMR Program Instructor at JIBC

Location: New Westminster

Empower future Emergency Medical Responders by becoming the Lead Instructor at Justice Institute of British Columbia. This full-time term position includes online and in-person teaching with a focus on curriculum development.

Justice Institute of British Columbia is looking for a passionate educator to lead its EMR program. You will deliver engaging content while mentoring fellow instructors and updating learning resources as needed. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience as a Primary Care Paramedic and effective communication skills for diverse learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging online and in-person EMR classes

• Ensure curriculum content is current and effective

• Mentor and train other instructors for quality delivery

• Collaborate with teams to fulfill program objectives

• Support the academic success of EMR students

Requirements:

• Primary Care Paramedic certification required

• At least 5 years of experience at the PCP level

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching at EMR level

• Ability to communicate effectively, both online and offline

• Strong organizational and analytical skills
