Join BCIT as an Assistant Instructor in Medical Radiography and support the education of future health professionals. This part-time role involves direct student engagement and hands-on teaching in labs.

The School of Health Sciences at BCIT is looking for a temporary Assistant Instructor for the Bridging Medical Radiography Technology Program. This position requires a commitment of 0.6

FTE, primarily supporting students in various lab settings on selected weekdays. Your contributions will be vital in providing practical instruction and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students during laboratory sessions

• Offer constructive feedback on student skills

• Prepare labs for application-oriented learning

• Conduct evaluations in simulation and positioning

• Collaborate with course instructors on teaching tasks

Requirements:

• Medical Radiography diploma required

• Minimum 3 years as a Medical Radiography Technologist

• Valid CAMRT registration; CTIC is desirable

• Demonstrated teaching experience

• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
